Clear Demand Extends Tobacco Pricing Solution

Scottsdale, AZ – Oct. 1, 2024 – Clear Demand, the premier provider of Price and Promotion Optimization software for grocers and convenience stores, has enhanced its Tobacco Pricing Solution to support a broader assortment of tobacco products and drive additional profitability for retailers.

Even as the customer base shrinks, tobacco remains a prominent sales and margin contributor for convenience stores, accounting for 28% of in-store sales, according to the latest NACS State of the Industry Report. However, increased competition, highly price-sensitive customers, and shifting customer behavior toward lower-tiered and other tobacco products have made effective pricing more critical.
